Berggi : another service for IM/Email and texting

by admin on July 29, 2007

Berggi “Berggi centralizes and simplifies email, instant message and text message communication on your current cell phone”

Berggi lets you use your current emails and access them with one central mailbox interface.
It also supports some of the popular IMs, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, Gtalk, and ICQ. All from one interface. if your friends have Berggi, you can text them through Berggi, thus paying for the Data connection and not the individual SMS rate.

Berggi requires you to have a phone made in the last one year or so and doesnt work with a Blackberry. It also requires you to have an active data connection.
Use your current cell phone If you purchased a cell phone in the last two-three years, then Berggi should work on your phone. Berggi is not compatible with PDAs such as the BlackBerry*
“Mobile phone data plans and contractsFor Berggi, you need “data connections” activated in your mobile phone contract with your carrier. Data connection is active unless you previously requested to turn it off
Data connections and data plans are NOT the same thing
Berggi works fine whether you have data-plan or not
Berggi works with your pre-paid phone card if your service offers data connectivity”  IM Logos

The new Zune browser is surprisingly beneficial, but not as excellent as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as rapid as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you sometimes prepare on employing the web browser that’s not an situation, but if you’re preparation to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s much larger screen and much better browser might be critical.
