by admin on July 25, 2007

Yahoo! is bringing its online experience to the mobile phone, in the form of Yahoo! GO 2.0Its a Java based application which you can download onto your phone by visiting on your mobile phone browser. Is a 500kb download and contains, at the moment some 9 widgets : search, mail, flickr, weather, entertainment, finance, sports, news, local and maps.

Yahoo Go Overview

I tried downloading it, but it seems a Nokia E61 version is in the works. Its available for Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Palm, HTC, Samsung and LG Phones. Since its JAVA based, it should support most phones that support JAVA. Definitely worth a try.

Just purchased a Mythic for myself and is going to be obtaining 1 for my wife quickly! It has just the right mix of features. just short of a total smartphone. I’m preserving an eye within the Captivate for a possible long term cell phone..
.costs are way as well high when released. I’ve been in high tech for 20+ years and in essence hack everything I own to produce it much better laptops, GPS, vehicle navigation techniques, etc. and yes cell phones too. Inside handful of days I’ve owned the mobile phone I’ve by now set up Opera Mini, Bolt 2.1, freecaddie, Google Maps w/GPS functionality, deleted all locked unproductive apps right after backing them up and fully modified the menu process to my exact requirements devoid of all ineffective apps.
